Sensei Leandro Lorenco was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has been teaching Jiu-Jitsu since 2006. He holds a 2nd degree black belt (IBJJF and FPJJ) under the Masters Danny and Robert Abu. He is also a Judo Black Belt and 3x Judo National Champion (2014, 2017 & 2019). In July 2015, he was inducted to the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Black Belt of the Year, for his contribution to the martial arts community. In 2019 he released his first book titled "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructorship: the student-to-teacher transition" available on Amazon.com.
Parallel to his BJJ career, he pursued a Master's Degree in Human Movement Sciences. Paired with a bachelor in physical education, Sensei Leandro combines his BJJ, Judo and academic background to achieve the best results with his athletes. During the past years Leandro Lorenco has trained many World and National Champions at Wand Fight Team.
Originally from Brazil, Michael resides in Las Vegas since 2010. An athlete throughout his life, Michael has trained alongside Wanderlei in the legendary Chute Boxe Academy, along with such experienced fighters as Anderson "Spider" Silva, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Fabricio Werdum. He’s had the ability to learn with great champions and has acquired valuable experience from them. Learning and receiving his black belt in Muay Thai under the tutelage of Rafael Cordeiro, considered one of the best trainers and creators of champions in the world. Michael is also a Jiu-Jitsu black belt, receiving his instruction at Gracie Humaita Academy under Grand Master Royler Gracie. With 16 professional MMA bouts, he has competed in events such as Storm, Shooto, Sengoku Japan, Pancrase, and Art of War in China. Coach Michael was part of 4 "The Ultimate Fighter" shows as the Muay Thai Coach, including Team Edgar, Team Silva, Team Werdum and Team Shogun.
Pete was born in Atlantic City, NJ. He started martial arts at a young age earning a black belt in both American Karate and Tae Kwon Do by the age of 12. Moving to Clayton, North Carolina in high school, Pete turned his focus towards wrestling where he was a 4 year varsity starter and a 2x State Placer at Clayton High School.
During this time he competed Greco-Roman as well as winning a state championship and becoming part of the North Carolina National Team. After graduating, Pete went on to wrestle at Division 1 North Carolina State University. It was during his freshman summer that he discovered MMA and never looked back.
Pete started his MMA training under Royce Gracie black belts Jason Culbreth and Billy Dowey, as well as Thai training under Kru Mike Emory at Team ROC, and quickly racked up an amateur MMA record of 5-1. Wanting to make MMA his career, he packed up and moved to the epicenter of MMA Las Vegas, NV.After jumping around from gym to gym, Pete found his home in Wand Fight Team, where he is now part of the Wand Pro Team and continues his training under their many great coaches. His extensive wrestling background and his ability to adapt this to MMA has made him a sought after coach to UFC, Strikeforce, and Bellator fighters. With many years of competition and over 200 weigh-ins under his belt, he is also well known for his expertise in nutrition, dieting and weight loss, particularly in weight cuts for competition. Pete also coaches kids wrestling and MMA programs Wand Fight Team.
Josh Quinlan was born and raised on the island of Kauai where he was frequently involved in team sports. One of his good friends introduced him to Martial Arts knowing about the positive outlet and a strong philosophy for him to follow. With a great group of coaches and a encouraging class environment he was able to increase his level greatly to a point of competition where he has won several Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. In his eyes, the most rewarding thing about training martial arts is seeing your level increase and sharing the knowledge aquired with others. He will continue to compete to test his skill and represent Wand Fight Team. He is currently a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Leandro Lorenco and a rank of dark blue in Muay Thai under Michael Costa.

Originally from California, Ali Zachary started his Jiu-Jitsu career later in life. At 40 years old, he found his passion in Jiu-Jitsu competitions. He is currently a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Leandro Lorenco.

Marco Simmons is a professional MMA fighter with a 3-1 record. He was born in California but has been raised in Las Vegas since he was 3 years old. Marco played football in high school and did some wrestling tournaments as well. He started his martial arts career at 19 years of age. After getting into watching UFC fights he fell in love with the sport and has constantly trained since then. Marco is a brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu and has 6 years training Muay Thai.
